Dr. Sarah Wagner Chosen As Keynote Speaker For Inaugural Recovery Innovation Technology Summit

 

On February 22, 2023, the UW MIA Recovery and Identification Project will launch the inaugural Recovery Innovation Technology Summit with a keynote address from renown historian, Dr. Sarah Wagner, Professor of Anthropology at George Washington University and author of What Remains: Bringing America’s Missing Home from the Vietnam War (2019). Dr. Wagner will join experts in forensic anthropology, archaeology, and history along with representatives from the Defense POW MIA Accounting Agency, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Canada’s Directorate of History and Heritage for the 3-day summit. If you have an interest in these fields or missing person and recovery investigations in general, registration is open.
